We are looking for an energetic and customer focused MICE Consultant with a proven track record in meetings & event management. Core Responsibilities: – Venue Sourcing, negotiation and contracting. – Logistics and Budget Management – Pre & Post event. – Onsite Management (as and when required). Job responsibilities: – The candidate will mainly be responsible for providing consultative support to our clients. – Responsible for providing a strategic direction & consultation to the meeting requester to influence a high quality, cost effective meeting project plan. – Must make recommendations that satisfy meeting specifications and requirements. – Venue sourcing using client preferred venue program, proposal creation and presentation. – Venue liaison with the supplier and negotiation with the venue for the best rates and terms and conditions of the client. – Contract and commission negotiation and finalization with the client. – Responsible for budget management, project planning, coordination and execution. – Management of the engagement of third-party suppliers and the DMC. – Will be required to travel to customer office or on-site locations for liaison of meetings. – Must delegate management – including the travel arrangements for the guests with concerned departments. – Responsible for the signage and meeting materials management. – Must play an active role budget management and reconciliation. – Online and offline attendee’s registration maintenance and management. – Event data management and documents management throughout the life cycle of the event. – Responsible for client billing and payments to suppliers.
