**Responsibilities:**
As an Editorial Intern, your role will be essential in maintaining the high standards of the Think Shaadi blog. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
– Creating original, captivating, and informative content.
– Fact-checking and ensuring the accuracy of information.
– Conducting thorough proofreading to maintain impeccable grammar and style.
– Copy editing to enhance readability and coherence.
– Ensuring that blog layouts adhere to Think Shaadi’s guidelines.
– Researching and selecting suitable images for blog posts.
– Regularly collaborating with and coordinating guest contributors.
– Assisting the Blog Manager with any assigned duties as needed.
**Qualifications:**
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:
– Exceptional written and spoken English skills (fluent).
– Proficiency in writing and proofreading to deliver high-quality content.
– Strong attention to detail to ensure error-free content.
– Typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
– Excellent internet research skills to gather relevant information.
– A genuine interest in the wedding industry and staying updated with current wedding news.
– Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
– Availability of a personal computer to facilitate remote work.
**Hours and Duration:**
– Approximately 15-20 hours per week commitment.
– The internship duration is set for 6 months.
